DESCRIPTION:

Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor of Information Technology in Cybersecurity for a 10-month tenure track teaching position in the Information Technology Program. The primary teaching responsibility will be in the area of Cybersecurity. The applicants should also be able to teach a variety of Information Technology core and elective courses within the Information Technology program. Teaching responsibilities may include day and or evening classes. Travel between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon and Warner Robins) will be required. Online teaching experience is desired. In addition to teaching, job requirements include service to the institution; and an active research and scholarly activities leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have a doctorate in Information Technology or related disciplines with at least 18+ hours of graduate course work in the field of Information Technology as well as a reasonable record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor.
