Dining Services Assistant/Cook

Hesston College seeks a Dining Services Assistant/Cook. This position will average 35 hours per week during the school year (9-month work agreement). Schedule will vary weekly, but includes day shifts, evening shifts and one weekend per month. The assistant position will prepare meals from recipes. Some preferred qualities are baking, knife skills, equipment experience, food safety and recipe reading. Previous experience in a commercial food setting is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College. Benefits can include medical, retirement and tuition discount.
