Flight Instructors

Hesston College seeks Staff Flight Instructors to work within the Aviation Department. Instructors teach private, instrument and commercial flight students within a 14 CFR 141 environment. Potential opportunities are available for advanced flight and/or ground school instruction depending on the candidate‚Äôs education, experience and interest. Required qualifications include at least an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, current FAA Certificated Flight Instructor certificate with single-engine land and instrument ratings, passion for teaching and learning, and commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College. Desired qualifications include an aviation degree, familiarity with a 14 CFI 141 training environment and multi-engine instructor rating. Benefits are dependent on hours worked.
