Job Summary

This is a full-time, highly professional position with the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, requiring exceptional verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and enthusiasm for implementation science. The OFC Training and Implementation Specialist will become a master trainer in Operation Family Caregiver (OFC) and will provide initial and refresher training and ongoing consultation and technical assistance in evidence-based implementation to both grant funded and contracted OFC sites. Extensive knowledge of implementation models such as “Getting to Outcomes” and the National Implementation Research Network is beneficial. The ability to work independently and remain abreast of both scientific and practical developments within the field of implementation science and support to military families is essential to the effectiveness of this position. Experience with those serving in the Nation’s Armed Forces is a plus. Travel is required.

Responsibilities

The successful individual is responsible for development and maintenance of all site-specific program training forms & materials, including: OFC Protocol Practice; OFC Program and Data Worksheets; Site Fidelity Tracking; Site Participant Tracking; Site Marketing & Outreach Tracking; the OFC Training Manual; and the OFC Military Caregiver Guide. The successful individual will provide delivery of OFC training (new and refresher courses) to OFC coaches, supervisors, and potential OFC Master Trainers through LMS such as Zoom; will provide ongoing monitoring and oversight for data collection processes; will oversee and provide ongoing consultation and technical assistance to all assigned OFC program sites, which includes preparation and facilitation of regularly scheduled online technical assistance sessions for OFC coaches and supervisors; will put together and mail out training manuals for program site trainings; will engage in national referral assignment, tracking, and follow-up; will make regional and national presentations to increase awareness and drive enrollment into OFC program sites; and will assist in cultivation and ongoing relationship building with new program partners (referral sources, potential funders, etc.). There may be other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with program implementation.
  • Undergraduate degree in Sociology, Psychology, or other related field.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • One or more years of social work experience which includes assessment, care planning and linking clients to services.
  • Service in a branch of the military.
  • Credentialed in training and/or implementation.
