Will serve as the interface between the clinical partners and the academic program directors for the student clinical experiences in community-based primary care. The duties include, but are not limited to:

Serve as liaison between the colleges, community-based healthcare agencies, and participates in the process established for obtaining community based sites for primary ambulatory care clinical experiences. Identifies, recruits, and tours new clinical agency placement sites. Attends required meetings at clinical affiliation agencies.Interacts with clinical agencies to plan for and schedule group or individual clinical rotations. Collaborates and consults with site coordinators and clinical instructors to evaluate clinical sites per Board of Nursing requirements. Conducts regular site visits. Maintains relationships with clinical partners, preceptors, and the community for the purpose of further development and support of clinical affiliates.Develops and maintains databases of clinical sites, preceptors, and credentialing requirements. Utilizes the required systems to submit clinical placement requests for students, preceptors, and clinical faculty as required to meet clinical affiliate deadlines. Prepare reports of clinical activities that are required and requested. Maintain accurate records regarding clinical placements.Collaborates with CON departments and academic affairs to ensure student and faculty compliance with clinical placement requirements and processes.Provides student training with credentialing processes and institutional requirements as needed.Perform all other duties as assigned.
