The Department of Radiology of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, AU, Georgia’s premier Health Sciences University, is recruiting for a full-time Interventional Radiologist. Responsibilities will include a combination of patient care and teaching of medical students and residents. The position offers a strong salary line and good fringe benefits package. Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience. The department is equipped with two Philips Allura Xper FD20 IR rooms, three CT Scanners (256 and 128), three MRI scanners (Two 3 Tesla and one 1.5 Tesla), Ultrasound, Routine X-ray, Nuc Med and R&F equipment.

MCG is one of the top 5 largest medical schools in the USA and ranks in the top ten public medical schools in basic science grant revenue per faculty member. The campus offers excellent core facilities including cell and small animal imaging. MCG and its teaching hospitals provide postgraduate education to nearly 500 residents in 44 different programs. MCG is located in historic Augusta, Georgia, a mid-sized city with diverse recreational and lifestyle opportunities.

The candidate should be board certified in Radiology. Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is preferred.
