The Department of Biological Sciences of Augusta University invites applications for two Lecturer positions to begin in August 2019. The Department is composed of 22 full-time and 7 part-time faculty members with expertise across a broad spectrum of biological disciplines. Applicant must possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in a discipline of Biological Science and have the ability to teach courses such as Principles of Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Genetics, and/or Cell and Molecular Biology. A terminal degree and prior experience teaching at the college level is preferred. Additional responsibilities will include academic advising and committee service. The normal teaching load for this position will be approximately seven courses per academic year, and applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduates.
