Job Summary
The Part-Time Warehouse Specialist organizes and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment at all campuses maintenance storage spaces.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drives a College vehicle to pick up and deliver College equipment and supplies
- Assists in identifying, organizing and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment arriving at the campuses Facilities Maintenance storage spaces that are in working condition
- Unloads trailers and trucks
- Conducts inventory of items arriving at the campuses Facilities Maintenance storage spaces
- Stores equipment and supplies using a forklift to move the pallets to its allocated space
- Performs warehouse minor repairs and maintenance to keep the place in a clean and safe environment
- Drives a forklift to move heavy equipment to its allocated space
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of working experience
- Possess a current Valid Florida Driver License
- Possess a Forklift Certification or ability to pass a Forklift Certification training test provided by the department as soon as offered
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Knowledge of warehousing procedures
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge and experience in inventory control
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Ability to drive a college vehicle
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
- Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
