Job Summary


The Part-Time Warehouse Specialist organizes and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment at all campuses maintenance storage spaces.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Drives a College vehicle to pick up and deliver College equipment and supplies
  • Assists in identifying, organizing and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment arriving at the campuses Facilities Maintenance storage spaces that are in working condition
  • Unloads trailers and trucks
  • Conducts inventory of items arriving at the campuses Facilities Maintenance storage spaces
  • Stores equipment and supplies using a forklift to move the pallets to its allocated space
  • Performs warehouse minor repairs and maintenance to keep the place in a clean and safe environment
  • Drives a forklift to move heavy equipment to its allocated space
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of working experience
  • Possess a current Valid Florida Driver License
  • Possess a Forklift Certification or ability to pass a Forklift Certification training test provided by the department as soon as offered
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of warehousing procedures
  • Computer literacy
  • Working knowledge and experience in inventory control
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Ability to drive a college vehicle
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
