Job Summary

The Competency-Based Education (CBE) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the daily operations for CBE programs and ensures delivery of identified goals and timelines. The CBE Coordinator maintains records, compiles reports, and coordinates deliverables with administration, faculty, and instructional designers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and maintains Competency Based Education (CBE) daily program operations
  • Oversees and ensures delivery of program timelines and target goals
  • Prepares and coordinates curriculum materials
  • Coordinates and assists in the development of related program activities
  • Compiles and maintains information for reporting purposes
  • Provides and maintains updated program information
  • Provides assistance to CBE team members with programmatic details and facilitates services to support the CBE program
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related computer programs
  • Ability to exercise critical thinking skills and independent judgement
  • Possess detail-oriented and highly organized skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to input and maintain information in a database system
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with constituents and departments in a courteous manner
  • Ability to display initiative and to work creatively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Possess strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
