Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or DO; Board prepared/board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Completed residency training in Emergency Medicine is required. Scholarly credentials for appointment at rank on the non-tenure CHS track and non-tenure Clinical track. Appointment at the Associate Professor rank requires meeting criteria as established in SMPH guidelines for appointment and promotion.
License or certificate:
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
Clinical teaching and patient care in the emergency medicine environment. Provide medical direction and clinical care of patients in the Emergency Department. Assume teaching and leadership, service and administrative responsibilities with the Emergency Medicine Residency Program within the Department of Emergency Medicine.
