ANNUAL (12 months)
Degree and Area of Specialization:
MD or MD/PhD. Board certified in anatomic pathology or AP/CP with subspecialty fellowship training in Breast and/or GYN pathology or minimum of 3 years subspecialty experience required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
General surgical pathology with subspecialty training/expertise in breast and/or gyn surgical pathology required. Candidates for associate professor and professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
License or certificate:
Eligible for unrestricted State of Wisconsin Medical License. Licensure will be required for successful candidate.
The academic breast/gyn pathologist will sign out surgical pathology cases, contribute to our teaching mission and collaborate on translational research projects.
