Rank will depend on candidate's interest and academic credentials. Appointment as associate professor or full professor will require that candidate's credentials meet criteria for tenure appointment at the University of Wisconsin- Madison.

License or certificate:

If M.D., applicant must have or be eligible for a WI Medical License.

Position Summary:

The Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) is seeking a doctoral degree trained investigator with an area of focus to complement and collaborate with the existing faculty. This type of complementary individual, sufficiently senior that he/she can function independently and be successful in securing external funding quickly upon hire, can synergize with faculty within and external to DEM to rapidly elevate DEM in NIH rankings.
