Position Summary:

Are you passionate about conducting research and improving health care quality and outcomes? The Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR), a vibrant, interdisciplinary, multi-investigator research program within the Department of Surgery, is seeking a research specialist to join our rapidly growing program. The selected candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects relating to comparative effectiveness research, qualitative research (particularly involving patient-provider interactions), performance and safety in surgical care, patterns of care, quality of life, and decision analysis. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks that span the full lifespan of a research study, including recruitment, data collection, compliance, and general project management. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver who is both able to work independently and contribute to team science.
