Our 30+ year program has long-term relationships with clinics, hospitals, and systems around the state, and stresses a matchmaking style of candidate/site fit that ideally creates long-term placements. The Physician Recruiter also provides technical assistance to employers struggling to fill vacancies, especially in rural areas, makes presentations at statewide residencies, attends job fairs, and maintains a strategic communications strategy to attract potential physician candidates.

The School of Medicine and Public Health has a deep and profound commitment to diversity both as an end in itself but, also as a valuable means for eliminating health disparities. As such, we strongly encourage applications from candidates who foster and promote the values of diversity and inclusion.
