Job description



The Sponsorship and Events Manager will oversee the day-to-day implementation of UK HealthCare's special event and community engagement strategies and tactics to reinforce the strategic marketing needs of UK HealthCare. This includes: planning and managing details; working with key partners to ensure messaging is on target; managing all aspects of the event planning process; attending networking functions in the community.

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods of time.



Shift

Primarily Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with occasional nights and weekends per departmental needs.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Strong project and event management skills with oversight abilities of vendors and key contractual elements. Also, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, time management, fiscal/budget management, collaboration and teamwork across departments and channels.

Experience in marketing, event management and/or community sponsorship activation.
