The Area Health Education Center Program Coordinator will direct all aspects of the UK AHEC Health Careers Pipeline Program including the direct coordination and management of activities on the UK Campus, data collection and reporting, and program advocacy to internal and external constituents. Represent the UK AHEC office on appropriate university and college committees and task forces relevant to the AHEC, health careers, and diversity. The Health Careers/Community Faculty Coordinator will serve as a liaison for 1400 Community Faculty from the 6 UK health colleges. Responsibilities include planning and implementation of the Community Faculty conference, program management, faculty appointment/promotion, and faculty development. Serve as a back-up for the Student Services Program Coordinator. Assist the AHEC Program Director in developing and implementing methodologies to evaluate program outcomes for AHEC, Community Faculty and the Health Careers Pipeline Program.
