Research Associate Senior

Job description

Conduct research under the direction of Center Director on projects related to the physical, mechanical and metallurgical properties of aluminum and its alloys, utilizing this information for process and product development for aluminum companies. Assist in the writing of proposals for grants, where applicable. Develop project ideas and write/propose project proposals when needed. Represent CAT and Secat at conferences and workshops, making technical presentations where available. Collaborates with other universities (domestic and abroad) on research areas related to aluminum.
