Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in all areas of business law and related topics (Human Resource Law, International Law, etc.). Experience in entrepreneurship topics is a plus. Candidates must have a commitment to research which leads to refereed publications. Service to the University and profession is also expected. Willingness to teach on-line is expected.
Educational Requirements for the PositionPhD or JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and must be licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction. Candidates must be professionally or academically qualified under AACSB standards and maintain that qualification. In addition, candidates should have the potential for excellent teaching and research.
Experience Required for the PositionTransactional experience and civil litigation experience required. Five (5) years of legal experience is expected, as well as real-world business related experience. Previous teaching at the college level is also expected. The candidate should also have a refereed journal publication record and a commitment to continue scholarly activity.
