Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, this position is responsible for the operation, repair and maintenance of all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems within the Lowell Center. Responsibilities include, but not
limited to: working independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems, performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance. This facility maintains hotel rooms, a commercial kitchen, dish room, mechanical rooms, boilers conference rooms, UW office space, the parking ramp, and a swimming pool area.

This position maintains and/or repairs the following:
18 separate air handling systems, a motor generator, 2 separate refrigeration units, one transformer vault, an ejector pump installation, a water softening system, 2 chilled water distribution systems, 3 large boilers with hot water distribution, commercial kitchen equipment, a commercial dish washer, industrial laundry equipment, 157 guest rooms (including AHU wall units), a swimming pool, and the parking ramp.
