Position Summary: The UNC Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology/Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a full-time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who will hold a faculty position at the rank of Clinical Instructor. Responsibilities will include women's primary healthcare (4 days/week), teaching of medical students, residents and fellows and clinical research. The practice location will be at our Panther Creek outpatient clinic in Raleigh, NC. The successful applicant should be able to perform physical exams, order appropriate diagnostic tests, diagnose, perform therapeutic procedures, provide medication management within the scope of the practice and ensure timely documentation in collaboration with physicians. The Nurse Practitioner is expected to perform duties and responsibilities with a significant amount of autonomy.

Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with a MS in Women's Health is required, as are Board Certification by ANCC or AANP, and current North Carolina RN and NP licenses.
Qualification and Experience: A minimum of two years of nursing experience, providing direct care to women in an inpatient or outpatient OB-GYN setting is required. Facility with antepartum fetal monitoring interpretation and basic bedside sonography are preferred, but not required.
