FINANCIAL ANALYST, College of Arts & Sciences, Administration
Provide high-level and detailed budget and financial assistance to the CAS/GRS Director of Financial Administration by assuming primary responsibility and assisting in all stages of the budget - planning, preparation, disbursement, and reconciliation. Administer Dean's Office and faculty recruitment budgets by authorizing expenses, tracking payments through the University System, and reconciling accounts. Assist with Stage I & II budget, indirect cost return from grants, budget supplement and commitment tracking, restricted account updates, and quarterly confirmation processes. Oversee weekly student payroll, unrestricted and restricted (endowment, gift and discretionary) transactional activity, including shopping carts, disbursement requests, journal entries, and budgets for the College of Arts and Sciences, including all departments, academic centers, service centers, and institutes (approx. 80-90 total). Develop, organize, and execute workshops and provide training for all CAS departments in matters relating to SAP, Sourcing and Procurement, financial reporting, travel reimbursement, timekeeping, journal entries and general CAS and university policies.
