University Human Resources - Employee & Labor Relations Director

The Employee & Labor Relations department, a part of University Human Resources, manages employee and labor-management relations that contribute to a fair, respectful, diverse, and high-performance culture.
We are seeking an Employee & Labor Relations Director with a focus in Stanford University's labor relations program. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Employee & Labor Relations, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing a collective bargaining strategy and manage all activities associated with negotiations including the design, implementation, administration, and application of the collective bargaining agreements, policies, and procedures. This position will serve as the lead negotiator and be the primary point of contact for Stanford's day-to-day technical expertise regarding such agreements. Additionally, this position will provide advice, counsel and training to Human Resources managers, managers, employees and other members of the Stanford community in employee and labor relations matters.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, labor law, organizational behavior or other related field and ten years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
