Nature of Work    
The Associate Director of Financial Aid will provide leadership to the efforts of campus outreach, operations, and student success through the Financial Aid Office. A primary function of this position will be to collaborate with other student support services offices to identify outreach opportunities for students needing support and to help reduce financial barriers to help them graduate on time. Compliance with Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards will be a primary part of this position, specifically in assisting students in developing, implementing, and monitoring a Financial Aid Academic Success Plan. The Associate Director will also coordinate campus outreach opportunities with the Admissions Office for recruiting events and other campus partners for financial literacy programs.

Required Qualifications    
Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years working in a college/university financial aid office. Knowledge of both Federal and State (Georgia) Financial Aid regulations.

Preferred Qualifications    
Master’s degree preferred.

Salary    $52,056 minimum - $65,676 midpoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions    
Ability to move about the office freely, communicate without restriction, lift heavy boxes of files, and work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed.
