JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Machine Tool Technology Instructor will serve as Lead Manufacturing Technical Instructor for the College. The Instructor will develop curriculum outline and design multiple modalities of instruction. The instructor will provide assistance to students and administration by promoting technical manufacturing education. The instructor will participate in developing community and industry outreach.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology and/or Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Vocational Education or related fields with welding. Qualifications and knowledge of AWS, NIMS, NCRC, MSSC, MSI, NCCER Certifications and/or industrial experience to attain certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Technology, Education, or Management.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Teaching Locations include partner High Schools, State, Federal and Juvenile Correction facilities, community campuses, and industry partners.
Teaching faculty are employed for 39-weeks (nine-months) encompassing the Fall and Spring Semesters. Teaching faculty may be considered for supplemental employment opportunities during the summer.
