The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Children's Hospital Colorado invites applications for several Pediatric Psychologist positions. The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a vital and growing research and teaching section in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Based at the Anschutz Medical and Research Campus, the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry benefits from affiliation with world class interdisciplinary professional education, research programs and clinical services.

Job Responsibilities:

The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks an experienced, licensed clinical psychologist with demonstrated expertise in the use of evidence-based treatment with children and adolescents in pediatric Neurology specialty care clinics and inpatient medical settings, including in the CHCO Headache clinic. Those with interest and experience in Med Psych and Consultation Liaison broadly, as well as specific interests in Neurology specialties, are highly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to psychologists with a scientist-practitioner orientation, who are interested in contributing to the clinical evidence base for psychology practice in the pediatric subspecialty setting. This position is a faculty position with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program with an APA or APPIC approved internship. Applicants must possess a Colorado Psychologist License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado. Must obtain Medical staff privileges at Children's Hospital Colorado.



Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of postdoctoral experience that includes clinical training duties, clinical supervision, administrative or teaching responsibilities. Strong administrative, interpersonal, research, oral and written skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, campus departments, and student groups. Experience and skill in consulting with professional colleagues and staff. Demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and experience with diverse populations
