Job Summary

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the broad areas of Functional Materials and Complex Matter to begin in the Fall of 2019. Candidates in all traditional fields and emerging sub-fields of chemistry will be considered. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field, and are expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to develop an active research program focused on the synthesis and/or study of materials with novel and/or useful optical, electrical, magnetic, reactive, catalytic, thermal, and mechanical properties, among others.
