Position Summary: This Research position will examine environmental health effects using electronic health records. We are seeking a skilled researcher with some experience in analyzing cohort studies using common regression techniques. An understanding of epidemiologic research principles is a plus. The researcher will be primarily asked to utilize electronic health records to conduct survival/time-to-event analyses and longitudinal, repeated measure studies in order to better understand the social and environmental determinants of health. The researcher will also explore interaction analyses to detect clinically relevant effect modifications under the guidance of experienced researchers. Experience with regression models for cohort studies is required, and experience with survival models and mixed effects models is a plus.

Education Requirements: M.S. and/or Ph.D. with experience in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computational Biology or related field.

Qualification and Experience: Must be proficient in R particularly in regression modeling using R. Must have some experience working with human cohort studies. Experience with spatial data, survival models, and mixed effects models not required but is a plus.
