Advertised Job Summary: This position assists in conducting research on early detection of autism and anxiety in high risk groups of young children with autism or fragile X syndrome using multiple behavioral, language, and physiological development indicators. The research specialist will work with the faculty principal investigator and grant staff to assist with 2 longitudinal NIH-funded research studies by conducting assessments of children and their families; managing data; organizing findings; and preparing reports, professional presentations and articles.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): This position requires a bachelor's degree in a field involving social scientist, or high school diploma and 4 years related research experience. Travel across South Carolina and within the United Sates is required.
