Primary responsibilities include providing daily care of laboratory animals including feeding, watering, changing bedding and cages, and administering medication as required.

Physical Requirements

Requires heavy lifting lifting, pushing or pulling of objects over 50 pounds.


Monday - Friday; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; and will include some weekends and on-call.


Knowledge of Internet Browsers and Windows OS, demonstrated lab animal
experience and knowledge of micro-isolator sterile technique.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Preferred Education/Experience

30 hrs of animal/science course work or ALAT cert. ALAT certification preferred.
