Job description

The Head Soccer Coach is responsible for directing and administering a NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer program.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: hiring and supervising assistant soccer coaches, practice and game day plans and preparation; recruitment of student-athletes; scouting opponents; budget management; team travel; creation of the annual schedule; player development; monitoring academic progress/performance; promoting intercollegiate athletics; community outreach; and ensuring compliance with NCAA, Big Sky Conference and NAU rules/regulations and the eligibility of players.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
Five years women’s soccer coaching experience at the collegiate level
Experience with APR academic success and student retention
One year supervisory experience
Budget experience and proven fiscal responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree
Head Coaching experience
Experience coaching athletes at elevation
