HRIS Analyst provides technical expertise to research, develop, document and implement current and future technology. Responsible for the support, maintenance and processing of employee information through the systems supported by HR. Serves as the technical point-of-contact and assists to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, complex report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent education and experience.
2.3-5 years of HRIS experience or IT experience including report writing and utilization of systems for process improvement.
3.Experience in design, development and use of databases such as MS Access.
4.Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
5.Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical users.
6.Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
1.Experience in website development and/or maintenance.
2.HR/HR Systems data integration experience.
3.Experience with HR ERP applications (Banner and/or PeopleAdmin preferred)
4.Experience with system reporting tools, SQL query writing and relational database experience
5.Experience in a college/university or hospital setting
