Think of it as a Git for computational experiments. CodaLab enables researchers to manage numerous experiments at once and share them with the research community so that others can easily reproduce results. A researcher can run any code on any dataset on any cluster of machines, while CodaLab keeps track of the full provenance of all experiments as an immutable computation graph. One can also create worksheets (analogous to Jupyter notebooks) to visualize and document one's experiments and create “executable papers”.

The Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab (SAIL) seeks a highly-motivated developer who is passionate about dramatically accelerating the pace and quality of AI research to improve CodaLab. This is also an excellent opportunity to be embedded in the Stanford AI Lab, and to get exposure to cutting edge machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) research.
