Clarion University Libraries seeks applicants for a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track Virtual Learning and Outreach Reference Librarian to begin August 2019. Summer work is optional with additional work opportunities available. Position is contingent on the availability of funding.

The position is responsible for the coordination, promotion, and evaluation of the Libraries’ informational and instructional services for all off-Clarion Campus library users. Additional responsibilities include serving as the library liaison with selected academic departments, participating in the library’s information literacy instruction program, providing individualized instruction at the reference desk, serving on Library and University committees, and contributing to the profession through scholarly and creative activity. This position reports to the Dean of Libraries and collaborates with the University Libraries’ Department Chair, Coordinators of Reference and Instruction Services, and the Director of Clarion Online to effectively accomplish departmental goals.
