The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at the College of William and Mary is recruiting a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions for the summer, fall, or spring semester. Should funding for such adjunct teaching positions become available, the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures will contact persons in the pool whose credentials match our teaching needs. Your credentials will remain active as long as this pool is available, normally one year. After the pool position closes, if you are still interested in adjunct teaching, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool. Note that we are unable to hire applicants who are not in the pool.
Required QualificationsAn advanced degree (M.A. or equivalent) in the Italian Language, or expertise in a closely related field and subject matter as evidenced in CV.
Preferred QualificationsA Ph.D. or ABD is preferred at the time of appointment. Experience teaching in a U.S. college or university. Native or near native fluency in Italian and clearly speak and understand English.
