Job Summary

We are seeking a programmer for scientific application development. The position involves working closely with a team of physicists to develop new software tools to help implement novel experiments. These tools include the creation of web-based interfaces for our scientific instrumentation, developing scalable servers for storing and retrieving large amounts of data, and implementing web applications for scientific computing. A physics or statistics background is preferred, along with knowledge of implementing cryptographic protocols.

What We Require

  • 5+ years development experience
  • Expertise in Python and the latest Javascript frameworks
  • Experience with scientific programming
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience writing documentation
  • Bachelor's Degree

What We Would Like You To Have

  • BSc or higher in Physics, Math, or Statistics
  • Experience with C
  • Prior experience developing scientific applications
  • Experience with cryptographic protocols and implementations
