Colorectal Surgeon

Job description

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of colon and rectal surgery. Responsibilities include colorectal patient care; instruction and supervision of medical students, surgery residents and colorectal surgery fellows; and basic science or clinical research related to colorectal surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or hold comparable non-U.S. certification.

This position will be housed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, flagship institution of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Applicants with strong interest in and experience with translational research and program development will be preferred.
