Babson College is accepting applications for a part-time faculty member for Fall 2018 to teach social science courses related to critical race theory. Disciplinary background is open, although applicants with a disciplinary background in political science, sociology, media studies, or social work are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants may be asked to teach two sections of “Critical Race Studies,” which explores how race still shapes American political, social, economic, and cultural life in fundamental ways. Applicants may also propose a more focused, in-depth course rooted in critical race theory. This position is well-suited for an advanced graduate student or postdoc seeking teaching experience in preparation for entering the faculty job market.

Additional Information

Minimum Education required:
ABD or PhD in scholarly discipline
Real world experience in the field;
Undergraduate or graduate-level teaching experience strongly preferred;
Familiarity with Blackboard or other course management systems;
