Job Details
The Management Division has occasional needs for adjunct faculty members across our program offerings. Applications from qualified applicants will be reviewed periodically or when an opening becomes available.
The Management Division at Babson College teaches core curriculum in the undergraduate, MBA and specialized masters programs in the areas of Organizational Behavior, Strategy, and Business Communication. In addition to these core courses, we may have needs for applicants who can teach related topics such as negotiation, human resource management, coaching, leadership, decision-making, consulting, and global management, among others.
Babson College delivers courses in many different teaching formats, including traditional semester schedules, half-semester courses, intensive classroom experiences, evening classes, weekend classes, and on-line instruction. We offer programs in the fall, spring, and summer. Applicants considered for teaching assignments may be asked to attend a training program, and to shadow an experienced faculty member.
Candidates with graduate degrees, previous college and university teaching experience and practical management experience relevant to the courses to be taught will be given preference. In addition, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching a range of students, be collaborative team-players, be willing to learn and adapt teaching technology, and have experience that can quickly establish credibility in the classroom.
