Position Summary: The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is recruiting for two Social/Clinical Research Assistant positions (#20031418 and #20031419). By applying, you will be considered for both positions. The research assistant will primarily contribute to ongoing studies in the lab with an emphasis on a currently funded NIH/NIDA grant testing the effectiveness of a smartphone enhanced behavioral treatment for substance use, as well as the identification of neural biomarkers of treatment response using fMRI. There are three primary responsibilities for the current position. (1) Study coordination and oversight, including but not limited to administering off site research assessments, maintaining study files, overseeing recruitment, retention and tracking of study participants throughout the triangle area, supervising and training undergraduate research assistants, and interfacing with the various personnel involved in the study. (2) Data collection, including self-report, interview, behavioral, biological, diagnostic and/or fMRI at UNC and off site substance use treatment centers and public locations throughout the Triangle area. Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
