Job Information

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Chicago Booth Evening MBA and Weekend MBA admissions and marketing teams. The Coordinator is responsible for executing a range of marketing tactics used to attract prospective students to the program locally and nationally, and help convert program inquiries to applicants. Will utilize his/her expertise in graphic design and the Adobe Creative Suite to support the admissions and marketing needs of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Design email headers, social media graphics, and other graphics in line with Chicago Booth branding standards.
  • Source content to use for the Programs' blog posts (~3-4 per month), as well as content for the Programs' social media channels. Strong blog-writing skills are a plus.
  • Contribute to the Programs' social media strategy by finding content, writing posts, and developing social campaigns.
  • Maintain regular website updates.
  • Assist with ongoing reorganization of website content.
  • Work with current students, alumni, and staff to create a broad range of content for the blogs, social media campaigns, email campaigns, and advertising campaigns.
  • Use metrics and data to drive strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Central Marketing team at the Harper Center Campus in Hyde Park.
  • Attend Central Marketing meetings at the Harper Center Campus in Hyde Park as needed.


Additional Requirements

Education, Experience or Certifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required, in marketing, graphic design, or communications-related area preferred.


Experience:
  • A minimum of one year of professional working experience required, in a marketing setting preferred.
  • Digital marketing and CMS experience preferred.


Technical Knowledge or Skills:
  • Exceptional English language skills, particularly business copywriting and editing, required.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of various content creation, design basics, social media tactics required.
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • High degree of organization and professionalism required.
  • Creative thinker who is able to meet deadlines required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign) including vector creation.
  • Ability and willingness to work evening and weekends when needed and attend events outside of normal work hours.
