Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), one of the largest universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), is seeking candidates for the position of Vice President for Student Affairs. The Vice President will be an inspiring and successful professional who will provide visionary leadership and overall administrative, financial, and strategic management of the Division of Student Affairs. The Vice President for Student Affairs reports directly to the President and broadly collaborates with the Provost and other University and community leaders and constituents on all matters affecting the student experience. The Vice President is expected to assume office in the summer of 2019.

The Division of Student Affairs is a comprehensive unit dedicated to supporting the educational mission of the University and promoting the best possible overall experience for the diverse student body. The Vice President oversees the following units: health and wellness center (counseling, student health and wellness services, including alcohol/tobacco/other drugs and the Haven project); multicultural center for student leadership and engagement; disability services; university housing; residence life programs; campus dining services; intercollegiate athletics; student organizations and activities; intramurals and recreational sports; student affairs research and assessment; student conduct; and veteran and military services. The Vice President supervises two associate vice presidents, three directors, and one affiliate director.

Approximately 60 graduate degrees and certifications are also offered through six of the colleges, including 15 doctoral degrees (DEd, PsyD, and PhD). IUP is the only university within PASSHE to offer the PhD degree.
