Nature of Work

The Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado is searching for a new faculty member(s) with mature clinical skills and academic interests in Interventional Cardiology to work at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. The position is open-rank; thus, candidates will be appointed as assistant, associate, or full professor level based on knowledge and experience. The University of Colorado is the only combined academic and advanced clinical referral center in Colorado providing a full spectrum of services including coronary, structural, and vascular interventions. We have a successful training program, clinical trials portfolio, advanced image guidance R & D program, and vibrant clinical and academic multidisciplinary programs. The University of Colorado Hospital is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora CO that represents one of the largest medical campuses in the nation. The position will have clinical, research, teaching and administrative responsibilities in either our EP, ACHP, Heart Failure, General Cardiology or one of our other sub-specialties.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • MD or PhD

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Should have meaningful clinical research background with the ability and intention of developing a collaborative research program.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic as well as clinical proficiency is desired.
  • Board certified or board-eligible in cardiology.
