The Department of Pediatrics Section of Child Neurology has an opening for a full-time Assistant Professor.



The Section of Child Neurology is an interdepartmental program in Pediatrics and Neurology. It has a strong tradition of excellence in basic and clinical research, exceptional clinical services and highly respected residency program. Job responsibilities of this position will include clinical care of children with general neurological disorders including epilepsy and headaches in outpatient/inpatient settings.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Medical Degree and Board Certification/Eligibility in Neurology with a special competence in Child Neurology.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong communication skills

Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatric neurology

Preferred Qualifications

Additional training/expertise in Epilepsy is desirable.

Additional expertise/interest in Headache is desirable.

Interest/experience in clinical research/clinical trials is desirable
