Job Summary: Oklahoma State University, Department of Economics, seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track position in Urban Economics (JEL CODE R) at the Assistant, Senior Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 2019, contingent upon available funding. Applicants should either have or be close to finishing a Ph.D. in Economics or equivalent degree. The successful applicant must have strong potential for effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, for serving on dissertation committees, for procuring external funding and for outstanding research leading to publication in internationally recognized journals. The teaching load is two classes each semester. The Department offers Ph.D., M.S., B.S. and B.A. programs in Economics, including a doctoral field in Regional and Urban Economics.
