LOCATION: Marinette, WI
STANDARD HOURS: The hours for this position will generally be Saturdays 7am-12pm. Lawn care hours during summer months of 10 hours per week and on call snow removal anytime between 4am-10pm. Usually for a weekly total of about 15 hours. Flexibility to work/change hours as needed is required.
MINIMUM STARTING RATE OF PAY: $10.77/hour

POSITION SUMMARY

Facilities Assistants will respond to worksite maintenance requests as needed in order to maintain a safe and functional work site. Assist maintenance with moving equipment and furniture for waxing and floor care. Open and close the campus as needed during non-standard campus hour. Maintain grounds by the operation of mowers and trimmers. Assist with snow removal. Identify maintenance issues and report to facilities. Assist with custodial tasks as necessary.

  • Open and closes building and provide campus security
  • Assists staff/students when emergencies arise.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Two years maintenance and/or building and grounds maintenance experience desirable

**An equivalent combination of work experience and education may be considered.
