Program Coordinator I

Job description



This position will coordinate radon advocacy and education for use by Kentucky health professionals. They will coordinate radon team meetings, maintain minutes, and triage radon assistance requests. They will also coordinate radon and secondhand smoke synergistic risk materials. They will also coordinate tailored tobacco treatment classes through BREATHE special projects including module content updates, marketing and enrollment, data collection, and reporting. This position will document work progress, draft and coordinate deliverables, and support BREATHE team projects as needed. This position will also provide graphic design support for the BREATHE team.
Duties include: coordinate the radon program; develop and provide radon and secondhand smoke information, materials and outreach strategies and programs that help individuals, families, and their communities maximize and maintain healthier homes and lifestyles; coordinate tailored tobacco treatment special projects. Provide graphic design support for the BREATHE team.

This position is funded by grants and contracts.

Physical Requirements

Working at a desk for long periods of time, daily lifting/pushing or rolling 20-30 lbs.



Shift

Monday - Friday, 32 hours/week worked during regular business hours.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Excellent written and oral communication skills, public speaking, outreach and community engagement. Graphic design experience. MS Office: Excel, and MS Windows.

Preferred Education/Experience

MHP or MPH in Community Health preferred. Driver's license also preferred.
