Laboratory Assistant I

This position entails working under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator on sponsored research projects performing standard and complex laboratory procedures including in vitro and in vivo techniques using rodent subjects. Maintain accurate and timely record of experiments and results; apply standard quality control procedures to assure accuracy of test results Applicants will need to have a strong good work ethic and good organizational skills and be willing to learn and consistently perform cellular and molecular biology techniques. In addition, animal care and procedures are a part of this project, therefore animal care experience will be a plus.

Salary: Hourly $15.86 - $16.76
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Week-end/holiday work is scheduled depending on work rotation.
Final candidate subject to background check.
