Postdoctoral Scholar Position - Hochbaum Group

Recruitment Period Open December 12th, 2018 through January 14th, 2019 Description

The Hochbaum Lab in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applications for a postdoctoral scholar in the field of chemical regulation of bacterial biofilm behavior. Applicants should have experience in bacterial culture techniques, analytical chemistry, and experimental techniques for quantitative analysis of bacterial physiology. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field of biology, chemistry or engineering. The initial appointment would be for one year, with the possibility of an extension, depending on performance.
