Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Engineering Technology in the College of Engineering at the University of North Texas (UNT) anticipates filling Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in its Construction Engineering Technology program starting in Spring 2019. Faculty member is expected to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching and to the continuous improvement and outcome-based assessment of the program to maintain ETAC/ABET accreditation.

The Department continues to experience growth in undergraduate and graduate student enrollment and in industrial and research funding support and is committed to educating superior individuals for a rewarding career in engineering through innovative teaching and application-based research. The Department is unique in the Dallas-Fort Worth region and it currently serves over 500 students pursuing BSET degrees in Construction, and Mechanical Engineering Technology, as well as the M.S. in Engineering Technology with concentrations in Construction Management, Engineering Management, and Mechanical Systems. Faculty also regularly contribute to Ph.D. programs offered in the College of Engineering and are responsible for over $500K in externally funded annual expenses. Minimum Qualifications:
Earned Master's degrees in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or closely related fields. The successful applicant will exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills and have a combination of teaching and relevant industrial experience in Construction Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD degrees in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or closely related fields. Outstanding candidates with additional relevant expertise in Engineering Management with ability to develop online graduate courses. Earned PE licensure is a plus.
